Meet Dr. Peale!  Dr. Peale grew up in Coeur d’ Alene and graduated from Oregon State University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Since then, she has practiced in Southern Idaho, Eastern Oregon, and has most recently moved back to Hayden after 2 years in Alaska.

After an extensive surgical mentor-ship in Pendleton, Oregon Dr. Peale has a strong interest in veterinary orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. She believes that dentistry and working with owners to come up with the best care plan for their pets is the cornerstone of a healthy and happy pet.

Outside of the clinic, you can often find her enjoying “urban hiking” with her husband, daughter, and standard poodle. She also loves gardening and crochet. Dr. Peale is excited about being home and close to family and looking forward to serving this community for many years to come.

Dr. Leslie Huddleston

Dr. Leslie Huddleston is very excited to have joined our team at HPMC! She grew up on a wheat farm near the small town of Winchester, Idaho. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Idaho and received her veterinary degree from Washington State University. Dr. Huddleston’s first job as a veterinarian was in Moses Lake, Washington, in a mixed animal clinic. She and her husband missed the mountains and the trees and started looking for their new home back in Idaho. They are very happy to be in an area where they can enjoy the outdoors and do more of their favorite activities. The Huddlestons enjoy archery, four-wheeling, and camping. Their family includes three critters: Zoey, the busy Border Collie mix, and Tommy and Charlie, the lazy cats.
